Get your very own droid companion with the authentic Sphero BB-8 Droid. This is the Droid™ you’re looking for The Sphero BB-8 is your personal robot companion that moves just like the lovable droid first seen in Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer. BB-8 can explore your home autonomously, or you can take the lead and control him from your smartphone or tablet. Simply download the app to an Android or iOS mobile device to get started. The app includes a quick guide to get you up and rolling in seconds, so don’t worry if BB-8 is the first droid you’ve owned. The app gives you plenty of options to keep your new companion occupied: you can guide BB-8 around your home, send it out on patrol and ask it to hide in case of danger. Authentic personality BB-8’s personality and actions evolve as it spends more time with you. As BB-8 patrols your home it makes a map of its route, noting dangers it comes across (a chair leg, the cat’s bed, storm troopers etc) and avoids them in the future. BB-8 perks up and shows a range of emotions and expressions when you give voice commands – it gets scared when you ask it to hide and shows excitement when you wake it up from charge. Once it did connect however I was able to control BB8 and use all of its functions although I didn’t seem to be able to find an instruction manual. BB8 takes a little getting used to in terms of control but once you do, it’s undeniable fun and you will have a blast controlling him even though the charge lasts about an hour.BB8 operates on both hard…
