Excellent product for the right user The Sony HDR-CX280e camcorder turned out to be just the right camera for me. Being much more from the still DSLR digital camera background as a former professional and now enthusiast photographer, I would not pretend to be a great videographer and could honestly admit to only using a real video camera half a dozen times or so in my whole life hitherto. Excellent value I’m going to start with a comparison, because Amazon reckons the CX280E is the new version of the CX250E and I happen to have access to a CX250E.Checking the specs, the CX280E is inferior in several ways, notably 2.7″ non-touch LCD vs. 3″ touch, which I’ll return to below.
