Instructions poor, no link to drivers This worked straight away on my old windows vista laptop; but struggled for a long while getting it working on the newer windows 8.1 machine, it kept giving unrecognised device, then error code 43 in device manager ‘device descriptor not found’A lot of googling and messing around trying drivers, updates etc and no joy. Eventually I tried going lower level and found the xHCI setting in the BIOS, which in my case was set to ‘On’ which I believe basically forces the USB controller into…
